Being involved in a car accident is one of the scariest thoughts for many people. While we all must drive to go about our day-to-day lives, there is a great amount of risk involved. With the number of negligent drivers that are present on our roadways, motorists must be extremely careful and cautious at all times in order to reduce their chances of being injured or killed in a crash. In 2018, there were 1,472 fatalities reported due to car accidents in North Carolina and nearly 80,000 injuries as well. These numbers are shocking and represent some of the potential danger that exists on our roadways.
